These terms apply to your registration for and attendance at the How Money Works workshop. By registering, you agree to them.
The workshop is a free educational session for parents and families connected to Mother Earth Childcare Centre. Seats are limited and offered on a first-come basis. We may adjust the date, time, format, or venue if needed, and registrants will be notified of any change.
The workshop shares general financial education: budgeting, saving, debt, credit, and related concepts. Nothing presented is personal financial, investment, tax, insurance, or legal advice. Your situation is unique, so speak with a licensed professional before acting on any concept discussed.
The event is educational and free. Attendance carries no obligation of any kind. Any services a speaker offers in their professional capacity are separate from this event and subject to their own terms, licensing, and suitability processes.
Register with accurate information and one registration per attendee where possible. We may decline or cancel a registration when the event is full or when information provided is inaccurate.
We want a welcoming room. Be respectful of hosts, speakers, staff, and other families. We may ask anyone who disrupts the session to leave.
We may take photos at the event for recap and promotional use. If you prefer to stay out of photos, tell us at check-in and we will respect that.
Handouts, slides, and other workshop materials are for your personal use. Please ask before republishing or distributing them.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Business With Hilal, the speakers, and Mother Earth Childcare Centre are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from attendance at the event or reliance on the general information presented.
Plans change, and that's okay. If you can no longer attend, let us know so we can offer your seat to another family. If we cancel the event, registrants will be notified and any rescheduled date will be shared.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario.
